This important section, by means of materials, texts, images, reconstructions, highlights the features of the Roman town through the main public and private buildings that can be admired along the Park path: the square with porticos, Via Traiana, the amphitheatre, the Civil Basilica, the Sacellum of Oriental Divinities, the port and its infrastructures, the cryptoportico, the spas.
Peculiar is the presence, inside the Museum, of the Sacellum of Oriental Divinities' altar, replaced on the dig by a modelling that, together with the marble head of the god Attis, proves the existence of oriental cults in Egnatia.
Regarding the funeral ritual are exposed glass, clay and stone cineraries, proving the practise of incineration in burials; and also important funerary epigraphs.
