National Archeological Museum of Egnatia, Subgeometrical peucezia Amphora, end of the
7th century – beginning of the 6th century B.C.
Disc foot, round biconical body, oblique rim, round edge, ribbon vertical ansa connection on the rim. Monochrome decoration: Brown band on the edge, horizontal lines and oblique meander patternbroke between horizontal lines and pairs of simple vertical lines; on the belly, comb patters and pedunculate swastika; below a double horizontal line; foot with a cross pattern inside a circumference; in correspondance of ansa, pattern with opposed angles. Reassembled from 10 pieces.
